Recent stuff

It's been a while since I posted anything so I figured I should post an update :P

Got my 1st preference in Round 1 VTAC offers, so I'll be heading off to Monash on the 21st to start Uni *shudder*, another 6 years of school (yay..). Found some nice off-campus accommodation near the Uni since it didn't look like I was going to get an on-campus offer. Of course, 3 days after finding the off-campus stuff, they send me an offer..... >.>

Apart from that, not doing much, watching a lot of anime, wasting a lot of time :). I'm probably going to order my textbooks earlier so I can get a head-start on reading them before Uni starts, which should minimise my wasted time a little.

Not much happening at ElectroWoW, set up a Wrath of the Lich King test server because the DB/Core are nowhere near usable, so we're getting some lackeys to test it for us and sniff out the bugs so we can just focus on fixing. :)

Kinda given up on papercrafting (another hobby down the drain =/), but I might drop back into it again later if some nice models appear. I watched Die Hard 4.0 a few days back, which got me thinking about a career in Cryptology again.. Stupid life choices are too hard to make :(

Anyway, I'd better get back to wasting time ;)

Status Update

It would seem I've become somewhat of an anime 'otaku'.. I was up until 2AM last night watching Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's, an absolutely brilliant anime series. Contrary to the majority of the anime-population I actually prefer the first series to the second.

Aside from my spending countless hours wasting my time watching anime.. Pretty much the same old stuff, working on our WoW server, currently working on a Sunwell Plateau script that's probably going to have me tearing my hair out.. :P
Finished pre-WotLK ai_agents, I've had a request to continue on to do WotLK AI, so I'll probably make a start on that in the next few days.

Not much else happening, eagerly awaiting first-round University offers, which will be out at 6:30PM on Jan 19.. =/. If I get in I assume there'll be quite a few trips down to Melbourne, which might mess with my otherwise packed *cough* schedule.

Not much happening this year, got a new laptop, luckily a few weeks after the mysterious death of my old one o.O
Went to a family friends' yesterday for Xmas lunch, then had a few people over for dinner.
Big group of ~30 people coming on Sunday for Xmas dinner, that'll be.. interesting.

Gotta throw a plan together for the next few months between now and Uni, I guess I'll look for a job, or just laze around at home some more :D

Holidays are dull :(

Went shopping on Saturday, picked up some glue/paper/blades for Papercrafting, that passes quite a bit of time, which is good. :)

Finally finished my Magister's Terrace script, it's undergoing testing for the moment, apparently its crashlog is very Windows-like. :)

Getting a fair bit done in my World AI project - it will be going public once Eastern Kingdoms are finished being scripted, which should be by the end of this week (yay!).

I'd wanted to re-watch Ojamajo Doremi Naisho sometime prior to results-day (shudder), but I've been really busy so I haven't got around to it. On the plus side, YesAsia.com have Mo~tto! in R3 format for REALLY cheap. Too bad I don't have a job 'else I'd buy it :(

Forever Charmed

Sooooo I was watching Charmed S08E22 last night, and WOW. It is the biggest and best episode I've ever seen - soooooo many guest characters, the first half runs by so fast with so much happening, I had to watch it a second time to get most of it :P.

Aside from the confusing time-skips, the final episode of Charmed is absolutely brilliant, every story is wrapped up and it ends on a happy note... despite all the destruction and despair. I always find it amazing how much television can induce so much emotion in viewers.

But seriously, if you've ever even watched 1 episode of Charmed, you should watch the last two episodes, they are absolutely BRILLIANT.


Time to go watch some OD and contemplate downloading the other 7 seasons of Charmed ;)

Papercraftz

In my boredness over the post-VCE-exam-murder holiday break, I printed off a few models onto some photo-paper (I hate living in the country, no decent stores around =( ) and attempted to make them into 3d..

I need to go shopping this weekend and pick up some craft paper, moar glue, a board, and spend more of my parents' money :)

Anyway, the first few took a bit of getting used to, and I threw out my attempts at a Blastoise and a Gengar.. Here's a picture of my attempts so far:Lol, I was watching Friends at the time :P

My next attempt will probably be a NE Druid in Cat Form, since it looks easy :P
